Verizon’s Droid 4 and LG Spectrum set to feature Global Roaming
While the rest of Verizon’s LTE phones are limited to roaming in about 40 or so countries (CDMA only areas), it appears that won’t be the case for their future LTE devices which are apparently going to feature global GSM roaming. It is said that the first LTE Smartphones to feature global roaming, will be the new Motorola Droid 4 and the LG Spectrum which both apparently have GSM/WCDMA roaming capabilities which will be enabled later on in the year (probably before the first half ends) after Verizon complete a few Network enhancements to ensure the devices can in fact be used anywhere on the planet while still boasting the best calling and data roaming experience around.
