With the season for changes about to roll in, Sony have announced that they will be giving their VAIO line a refresh with new features and designs which are expected to start appearing on sale sometime next month.

First up is the Z series which will now come with the option of a carbon fibre silver design as well as optional LTE mobile broadband, a choice of Intel’s i5 or i7 cores, RAID o SSDs, an extended sheet battery, and a Power Media Dock Drive with a starting price of $1949.99.
Next up is the S series which will have both 13-inch and 15-inch models upgraded to feature the latest Intel i7 core and will come with a choice of graphics, either the AMD Radeon HD 6470M (512MB VRAM) or AMD Radeon HD 6630M (1GB VRAM), plus an extended sheet battery (just like the Z series). The 13-inch model will start from $799.99, while the 15-inch which will now also come with a 15.5-inch IPS Full HD display (1920×1080) as standard and will start from $979.99.
And finally, the E series is said to also be receiving an upgrade to feature the latest Intel Core Processors, while the C series will just be getting a minor external design change.
