Another day, another milestone for the world’s most popular video viewing, YouTube who are now reportedly seeing 4 Billion video views a day, which is a 25 percent increase on the daily amount of views 8 months ago. According to Reuters who got in contact with the Google-owned company, YouTube is now also seeing around 60 hours of content uploaded to the site every minute compared to the 48 hours a minute recorded back in May 2011.
While these numbers are impressive, we can only expect them to grow exponentially soon with the new “Channels” scheme YouTube rolled out at the same time as the new layout which will see the company get involved in over 100 original video programming deals with people such as; Jay-Z, Madonna, and Tony Hawk.
